Now some of you may be wondering who Amanda Diva is. Trust me. If you grew up in the 90's as I did then you already know who she is. Remember that great TV show "My Brother & Me"




Well the girl on there that played Deon grew up to become a beautiful and talented woman! Amanda (Seales)Diva is 27, a female rapper, actress, and former replacement of the musical group Floetry.





Very talented. I've heard some of her stuff and she is really good. Her style is old school and she loves a lot of good artist like Nas. If you've head the 10th Anniversey Illmatic album then you've probably heard the beaet to "On the Real." A TIGHT @$$ beat I might add! She flows off of that and goes pretty good.




Just check her out. She's not only talented on the mic but she's beautiful. Just had to give some props to my strong sista's holding it down for the Hip-Hop Game!




She even has a song with Lupe Fiasco on the "It Was Written Mixtape." A Remix to "Sunshine." They both kill it!!!




She's also on...you guessed it. Q-Tip's "The Renaissance" album!!! "Manwomanboogie." Check out the vidoe. Its tight!

Just BE=Yourself

Here is a little short story I wrote last night in the form of a poem. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did writing it.


He tried to dress up to impress
But just ended up in more mess
You see its hard for he to BE
Cuz He is his own worse ENEMY
Feelings over clouding his senses
Twisted up inside like hes tangled in fences
Defensless cuz he let down he sensors
Under a Rug like a Rat now hes scared like Chucky Fenster
The Light shined upon him, but it, he couldn't see
The reason for his anxiety, when he would see her, he would flee
Now you see its hard for BE to Express
Every time he does, he becomes more Depressed
For FEAR of rejection was prevalent on his mind
And the bravery and courage was hard for BE to find
Let down his sensors to SHE, the Ex of BE
He then stopped hoping when SHE left his heart broken
But another he had found so different then the others
That loved sports like his brothers and was sweet like his mother
When he glanced into her eyes he felt calm and at peace
No one had ever done this, not even his Ex SHE
Her was the name of this Beautiful stranger
But BE was afraid and sensed much danger
Until finally it clicked and it all became clear
No longer was their doubt, uncertainty, or fear
BE became happiest just being himself
Something you have to find, can't be obtained by wealth

The Sheer Tenacity to Never Give UP!!!

Back from work...yet again. On a chill Friday night.

I had a Master Plan but that didn't work out the way I wanted it to.

Just saw kanYe on VH1 performing some of his classic hits. You know how Ye does. Good performance!



He quoted Harvey Dent from the movie The Dark Knight and if you think about it for a while.....its a good quote.

..."You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain"

Just think on that. Some deep ish.

I really don't have a lot to talk about today. Nothing really interesting happened today in my life as hard as that is to believe. Oh yea. Before I forget. Big ups to my Fam from the other side. Katie & Kingsley!!! I appreciate hanging with you guys last week. We've all got to do that again sometime. Get the Original Hall 14 Crew Back Together!

And today is...

Whats good to all those that might be reading this! I watched a movie last night called Never Back Down with O and Ambreishia and it was pretty good. Good fighting scenes that used a lot of mixed martial arts (and I'm a big fan of Martial Arts by the way for those that know me). When your taking a break from studying, or grinding, or a mixture of the two, or whatever it is you do check it out.




I also had a really good talk with a good friend of mine last night. She and I we're up for a minute just talking about different subjects that are prevalent on our minds. It was good to get new ideas and see things from another persons perspective. Thats the good thing about college. No two individuals are alike. lol Appreciate that real talk we had breishia!








Oh yea! As for the UC! Cook your freaking food all the way! Dmill and I had some turkey sausage and we looked at the inside of that meat and it was still a little pink. Come on now. With all of the outrageous prices we pay for this school the least you could do is make it worth our while. Humor me a little. Is that to much to ask? Maybe so. But this is not one of those instances where you get what you pay for. Not in the least bit.




Well. I'm bout to go finish my laundry but it was good getting on here talking about the past 24 hours. Gotta hit up that job today. Taco no Bueno

Got off of work about an hour ago.
Got out the shower feeling fresh then a mothalova.
Just jamming to....you guessed it.

Talking to people over the internet too, shout out to O and E! Good People right there. I know these two always have my back.







My Weekend has officially begun! I'm sleeping in and then hitting up the gym and after that the world is my playground! Not really talking about anything now.
Have some plans of what or should I say, "who" I want to kick it with.





Well before I go. The Lesson for this week is this.

Today was....one of those days

....so yea...I had two test today and I was really tired today. Just woke up from a nap. Funny how something little like a nap can make you feel a little better. chillEn before I have to end up going to work.

As soon as I get off at midnight I will have officially started my weekend!!!!

....Lets see. What else is good today? Not sure but I'm waiting for something in the mail and cant wait to recieve it. ATCQ's 1st Album: "Peoples Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm."






And before I go. This is off subject but one day I was talking to a friend and I randomly brought up Tia & Tamera. I know their twins, but Tia to me looks super Fine! Tamera is too, but Tia is number one on my list! No disrespect to the Tamera fans out there.
